New Life of Carlsbad Church
We felt that each individual has a gift from God that He wants them to release the substance of to the end that others may find the hope and faith to go beyond the ordinary and reach for the extraordinary life that the Lord God is eager to give to them. We've seen lives transformed time and tme again throught the environment here at New Life of Carlsbad Church.

In early years we chose to shutter the ministry to regroup and replenish the welfare of our lives. Years later the Lord spoke to me to reopen NLOCC on a technology platform; an "Online Church."
​
And so with the Lord's fresh anointing on our lives, Marie and I have obediently followed the Lord's instruction and reopened the doors into an arena with unlimited reach through God's Grace to reach and nourish souls for Christ with His wWord.

Pastors James and Marie Givens
I'm James G. Givens, the Pastor of New Life of Carlsbad Church. I'm married to Marie A. Givens since March of 1987. We migrated to San Diego California from Seattle Washington in 1999. Through the leading of the Lord we planted New Life of Carlsbad Church. we held our first service in January 2000.

Marie and myself held a deep passion for souls and we believed that the abundant life would be lived out to the fullest to believers that heard the Lord to be the source of a life worth living. We wanted to meet people at the point of their need with the truth of God's word. We sought to provide an atmosphere where people enjoyed coming to a worship center, to meet and fellowship with other believers while drawing strength from the presence of the Holy Spirit flowing within the service.
